Menopause management
Menopause is a natural process which occurs in most women between the ages of 45 and 55 years, with average onset occurring at around 50. Symptoms vary but commonly include hot flushes, night sweats and menstrual cycle changes. Not all women require treatment but many will benefit from behavioural and lifestyle modifications such as healthier diet and regular exercise. Some symptoms may be alleviated with oestrogen Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), combined Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) or Tibolone (HT) and Dr Pineda will work with you in determining the best treatment options for your needs.
