Hysterectomy involves removal of the uterus and can be done using a variety of approaches depending on the underlying health concern. Dr Pineda can help you decide which is the right option for you and conduct the procedure.

Menstrual issues

Relatively straightforward treatments exist to treat the majority of physical and emotional symptoms of menstrual disorders. Dr Pineda will accurately diagnose your condition and ensure you receive appropriate treatment to deliver the best results for you.

Menopause management

Menopause is a natural process which occurs in most women between the ages of 45 and 55 years, with average onset occurring at around 50. Symptoms vary but commonly include hot flushes, night sweats and menstrual cycle changes. Not all women require treatment but many will benefit from behavioural and lifestyle modifications such as healthier diet and regular exercise. Some symptoms may be alleviated with oestrogen Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), combined Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) or Tibolone (HT) and Dr Pineda will work with you in determining the best treatment options for your needs.
